Haseji Temple

Tourist spot

What is Hasedera?

Hasedera is divided into two grounds: Kanonzan’s foot and middle.
Divided into upper and lower borders, a beautiful garden spreads out in the lower borders and is decorated with flowers of the four seasons.
You can enjoy a wonderful view when you go up the prospecting trail from the upper boundary.
Hasedera is also famous as a flower temple.

Flower temple

Hasedera is a famous tourist spot as a temple of flowers.
Seasonal flowers bloom all year round.
Many people visit Hasedera to love flowers.
Especially when hydrangea blooms, it is crowded with many people.
The hydrangea that blooms from the lower boundary to the entire slope that accesses the upper boundary is the highlight.
The scenery of 2500 hydrangeas is a must-see spot for flower lovers.

There are various flowers in Hasedera.

For that reason, Hasedera’s HP has an annual calendar for the best time to see flowers.
Hasedera, famous for its hydrangea, has a gorgeous “peony” around mid-April.
After cherry blossoms and peonies, lotus flowers fill the pond in the precincts.
In autumn, cluster amaryllis and camellia flowers bloom.

Kannon-do

If you go into the upper boundary, you will see a magnificent Kannon-do.
The Kannon-do is also beautifully crisp in white and black.
When you enter the Kannon-do hall, you will see “Eleven-faced Kanzeon-an”.
It is said that the height is 9.18 meters.

Chizo Jizo

You can see a lot of Jizo in Hasedera.
A large number of Jizo are lined up.
This is called Chiji Jizo.
Chitai Jizo is a power spot.

Warming Jizo

Hasedera also has a very cute Jizo.
Three bodies are set and three places are put in the precincts.
It is said that a good relationship will come if you can find all the three Jizo-sama.

It is also popular as a Hasedera autumnal spot

Hasedera feels spring, summer, autumn and winter, and you can enjoy beautiful scenery all year round.
During the autumn foliage season, many worshipers and tourists visit to see the foliage.
While enjoying the fall foliage, it is also recommended to put your hands on the Buddha and stone statues moistly.
From mid-November to late December is the best time to see the fall foliage.

Hasedera will light up the precincts along with the autumn leaves.
Familiar with the scenery of Jizo and the garden, the scenery with a wonderful atmosphere spreads.
All visitors come to the precincts, taking a sigh of beauty.

Enjoy the superb view from Hasedera
I would like to have a visit to Hasedera and enjoy this view for those who have time.
As you climb the promenade, there is a superb view.
You can overlook the city of Kamakura and Yuigahama.
