The fierce Nio stands near the great giant bronze Buddha of the Todaiji hall. . . Though usually the guards sit in their own special gate before the temple, in this instance they stand flanking the giant bronze Buddha statue of the large temple in Nara. These statues will be seen alongside practically any instance of a Buddhist temple in Japan/China/Korea/India, as they are based on the two guards that followed the Gautama Buddha on his travels. The guards seem to do keep out the deer that are all over Nara at least. . .

This is a Missyaku Kongo-rikishi statue with an expression of anger inside.
Although it is difficult to see as a back Buddha, there are also Komokuten and Tamonten walking on the evil spirit.

Large main hall

After passing through Niomon and through the stairs, you will see the main hall.
Clean up at Kokaku before visiting.
It is said that if smoke from Kokaku is applied to a painful part of your body, you will head for the best.
Built in 1986, Daihondo is the most important place in Naritasan Shinshoji Temple.
First of all, thank you in front of the money box and pray with your hand when you put money.

In the main hall, gomadaki is held several times a day.
The fire of goma soars is called “Okaji”.
If you hold your bill or your belongings over the fire of goma, you will get the benefits of immobility.
If you look closely, you will be overwhelmed by power. Very popular with foreign tourists.
